This model is of HMS Echo, a 16-gun sloop-of-war launched in 1782 and broken up in 1797.
The model was built from a set of plans and a monograph by David Antscherl and Greg Herbert (Admiralty Models). The original plans are from National Maritime Museum Greenwich. The best information is on the admiralty models site.
