America was a 19th-century racing yacht and first winner of the America’s Cup international sailing trophy.
Modeler’s Notes
I chose to build the ship with partially exposed ribs and deck beams, although all deck furniture was installed. Only lightly stained the wood, allowing view of treenail pattern. Great kit, great fittings and details as usual from this company.
