I don’t comment on most of the auction books, but this is an unusual one. They author attempts to summarize the evolution of the ship in the first 10 pages, and the history of ship modeling in the next (single) page (of text). Laughable. On the flip side, the color plates on the remaining pages (64 in all) are fairly well reproduced and include some interesting models: traditional display, diorama, and RC. They are not only naval, as the title implies. I’ll bring it to a meeting so you can see for yourself. It’s probably worth at least $1 to someone in the club.
