Bayshore Center at Bivalve
Environmental history museum and the home port of the 1928 Schooner AJ Meerwald.
John DuBois Maritime Museum
A large and unique collection of builders’ models of local craft show the plans used to build a new ship from the model itself. Closed until further notice for maintenance.
Richardson Maritime Museum
Named after a local boat builder, the museum is dedicated to the craftsmen and culture of the traditional Eastern Shore wooden boat building industry. There is a unique collection of boat models: skipjacks, bugeyes, pungys, log canoes, rams & other vessels used over the years.
Calvert Marine Museum
In addition to maritime history exhibits, the museum collection includes the bugeye Wm. B. Tennison (converted to power c. 1908), the skipjack Dee of St. Mary’s, and a number of smaller craft.
Baltimore Museum of Industry
Permanent exhibits include the Baltimore, built in 1906, the oldest steam-powered tugboat in the United States.
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
The museum is home to a collection of Chesapeake Bay artifacts, exhibitions, and vessels.
St. Marys Submarine Museum
The museum has a wide variety of pictures, paintings, models, artifacts, and rare historical documents. More than 99% of all WW II submarine combat war patrol reports are housed here, as well as files on nearly every submarine ever in the service of the United States.
National Civil War Naval Museum
The museum includes the wreck of the CSS Jackson and CSS Chattahoochee, and partial replicas of the USS Hartford, USS Monitor, and CSS Albemarle.
