This museum houses models, artifacts, and photos on City Island and its boating history.

Guided missile cruiser USS Little Rock, destroyer USS The Sullivans, WWII submarine USS Croaker (SSK-246), fast patrol boat PTF-17, and a museum with models and artifacts.

Houses a large number of small craft, motorized, sail, oar, and paddle.

The American Merchant Marine Museum preserves displays and interprets historic artifacts and artwork related to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine, and the profession of seafaring.

The museum is known for its large and varied collection of boats used to navigate the many lakes and rivers of the Adirondack region.

Exhibits include USS Requin (SS 481).

Home of the 1944 submarine BECUNA (SS-319) and 1892 cruiser Olympia (C-6) – the oldest steel warship afloat in the world.

The museum includes maritime subjects. The highlight of the museum is the restored/re-constructed 1813 brig Niagra.

Includes an exhibit on submarines developed by John Philip Holland

The four-masted Sindia, sailing from Kobe, Japan, on its way to New York City, ran aground near Ocean City in 1901. A museum exhibit displays scale models, photographs, and wonderful artifacts taken from the ship.
