Arizona was a battleship destroyed during the attack on Pearl Harbor, with the loss of 1177 men.
Lexington, USS (CC-1)
The Lexington as originally intended as a battlecruiser. She was converted to an aircraft carrier while still under construction.
Hood, HMS
When sunk by the German battelship Bismark, during the Battle of the Denmark Strait, of the 1418 men aboard, only 3 survived.

Pilot Boat Virginia
Second pilot boat named Virginia. Originally the yacht Pawnee, designed by naval engineers Cox and Stevens. Commissioned by the Virginia Pilots Association in 1932, she remained in VPA service until 1971 when she was relieved by a third Virginia.
